More video cards added to the nVidia driver
As of Haiku build r22497, Rudolf has now added support for 24 more nVidia based cards.He says he’ll also be updating the accelerant soon. Nice to see updates for this one. Nice work Rudolf. If you have one of the newly added cards, as always head on over and grab the latest Haiku build and provide your feedback.
Haiku gets AHCI SATA
Marcus Overhagen has been busy working on SATA support for Haiku. He has now checked in the code and SATA should now be functional. Well that’s the theory. They still need to have it checked out on real hardware, so if you have a computer with SATA give it a try out.
Another new audio driver in the works
Seems our old friend Jerome Leveque has been busy again. This time he’s working on drivers for the ICEnsemble 1712, which powers the M-Audio Audiophile2496, among others. If you have any of the devices on the list, or if your sound card uses the ICEnsemble then be sure to download this driver and give it some testing and provide some feedback on your experiences with the driver.
